Project Description:
The Village of Port Barrington is using Illinois EPA Low Interest Loan and ARRA funds for installation of a low pressure sewer system including 12,000 lineal feet of low pressure force main ranging in size from 1.25" to 4", seven (7) air release valves, thirteen (13) cleanouts, ninety-three (93) grinder pump units and restoration. |

Project Description:
The City of St. Charles will be using Illinois EPA Low Interest Loan and ARRA funds for rehabilitation of East Side and Riverside Lift Station
The proposed improvements of East Side Lift Station includes conversion of the existing dry pit pump system to a submersible pumping system and replacement of the existing screen. The project includes demolition of existing equipment and installation of pumps, screens, piping, electrical switch gear and minor exterior piping. The project also includes minor rehabilitation of the existing building including replacement of doors, roof and painting.
The proposed improvements of Riverside Lift Station include replacement of two mechanical fine screens, minor piping, and installation of a screens washer and breakwater system. |

Project Description:
The DeKalb Sanitary District will be using Illinois EPA Low Interest Loan and ARRA funds for construction of Phase 1A Biosolids Rehabilitation Project.
The proposed improvements consist primarily of the following:
1. Rehabilitation of the four (4) fifty-five foot diameter anaerobic digesters including replacement of two floating covers, two gas holder covers, mixing systems and piping.
2. Rehabilitation of the forty foot diameter sludge storage tank including a fixed cover, mixing system and piping.
3. Construction of a new Digester Operation Building to house boiler heat exchangers, pumps, piping and controls
4. Construction of a new Sludge Handling Building to include WAS storage, Thickened WAS storage,gravity belt thickeners, centrifuges, conveyors, polymer units, pumps, piping and controls.
5. Construction of 100 by 75 foot dewatered sludge storage building. |
